Our client, a dental student, was given a nice refrigerator by one of her professors and needed it uninstalled, removed, transported, moved in and installed. The removal and transport went smoothly. Our route took us down Magazine Street and we turned many heads as the large two door stainless steel appliance moved down the street. We did pull over a few times to let traffic around us but for the most part drivers were patient with us.
The place the fridge needed to go was up some stairs just big enough to let the silver giant through but it did have a landing and turn that would be challenging. The door at the top of the stairs was to narrow to allow passage through the door so the doors of the refrigerator had to be removed. In the end we got it up the stairs and installed. This move took two hours and our client was billed $160.00 and added on a tip for our strong and skilled movers.
