May Day! May Day!
Our client needed to move out of his apartment so the land lord's daughter could move in. Our client is legally blind and uses a cane to see the world and on top of that had suffered a stroke a week before the move. To make matters worse the movers our client had hired did not show; apparently their truck had broken down. It was this mover that contacted us to replace them and do the job.
So on May Day (5-1-17) We moved our client's furniture from his second story apartment in the Quarter to a two story apartment also in the Quarter. The move involved lifting some furniture up to a balcony because the spiral stairs would not allow furniture to be moved up that way. The couch was to wide to fit through the very narrow entry way but a neighbor was kind enough to let us bring it through her apartment. Great neighbors! The move took 3.5 hours and our client was billed $420. Our client loved our work and commented he would hire us again if he moved again.
