More Than We Bargained For

MOVE IT! by bike was called to move a few things the day before the move needed to be done.  The client initially indicated that they needed to move a two bedroom house worth of things but later changed that to just a few things, a queen sized bed, a dresser, a desk, a coffee table and three chairs.  We also were told that another mover had quoted they could do the move for $97.00 and they were on a very tight budget.  With all this in mind it was figured that two movers could do the job in an hour and a half and with two movers the bill would be $120.00 but would try our best to do it for $100.00 and we were hired to do the job.

When we arrived the next day we were asked to move more than was described.  It was then that we knew that it would take longer than we had thought and it did.  One hour longer.  But we made a promise and we stuck to our $100.00 charge.  That ended up being enough to pay the MOVE IT! by bike movers but nothing for the business.  We were glad to help our client out and hope that they will steer some business our way.
